The Program in Medieval Studies recently became the Program in Global Medieval Studies in order to more accurately reflect its exciting range of research and teaching. Together, faculty and students explore an expansive past, one that included an extraordinary number of cultures and languages and that reached across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. The interdisciplinary nature of this work and the flexibility of the program permit students to range across centuries, regions, and affiliated departments, all while charting rigorous, individualized courses of study.
